Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa offers a variety of services, including:

• English Language Training
  The Center offers a number of English language training programs for university staff and students as well as the general public. It also runs sponsored programs.
  
  In addition, from time to time it also runs English language teacher training programs.

• English Language Testing
  Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa is the official testing center for the Supplemental paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
  
  The Center also administers Institutional TOEFL, TOEFL-like test for graduate students of Gadjah Mada University and the public, and English Language Proficiency Tests.

• Translation Service
  Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa, UGM, now has a translation unit which offers services in translating texts from Indonesian into English and vice versa.

• English Language Training Center Consultancy
  The Language Training Center has provided consultancy to a number of language training centers, especially those based in Eastern Indonesia universities such as Haluoleo University (Kendari), Samratulangi University (Manado), Pattimura University (Ambon) and Cendrawasih University (Jayapura). The consultancy ranges from designing courses to language laboratory management.
