Hi,
Friends,
i am completed my diploma in E&c IN 2001 ofter that i done my DHNE (dioloma in hardware and networking engg) ofter that i joind as a system admin in a news paper in bangalore, now i am planing to do Amie In computer Science pls let me know how it will be , hows the exams, when it will be condected,total how many years,whats the exam fees,joining fees any other fees, total how much it cost till the finishing of exams, pls send me the detailes, becose i ahould arange for the money also i am not rich persone, pls do the need full to me.

Hi .....
AMIE, is a government approved engineering degree.
Its full form is Associate member of The Institution of Engineers (India).
This examination is conducted in many centers worldwide.
(List of Examination Center you can find from this site.
http://www.ieindia.org/exams/centres.htm)
It has two parts, Sections A & B.
Number of subjects to pass in Section A (Diploma) will be – 4 and Section B – 9.
In addition, project work and laboratory experiments are compulsory.
The Institution examinations are held twice a year generally in the month of June and December -- termed as Summer and Winter examinations
For writting Exam first you have to enroll as Senior Technician memeber. For this you have to send an The Application forms .This will be available from local center.

Examination Fees (1000/-) per semester
Section A - 4 Papers only

Maximum you can write 4 papers, if you study very hard, you can pass section A in 1 semester
one think you want to study hard... it is very very important in AMIE.

I have got a registration no and I need an ST No. so that I can appear in winter plz tell me how could I get my ST NO. I had got my registration no. in the end of July, still I have not got an ST NO.Plz reply as soon as possible.
