To attempt to facilitate the use of the forum by members I have been monitoring situations in which you are receiving error messages.
Accordingly I have increased the maximum number of characters permitted in one post from 5,000 to 7,500; additionally the time allowed between posts (which is designed to eliminate those annoying and inadvertent double-posts which occasionally occur) I have reduced from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
I shall keep an eye on both these matters to ensure that they are not causing problems and will revert to the original restrictions should any arise.
