Comments:  Yesterday I read a glowing review of a Rhodes soft-synth emulator made by Emagic. It probably
costs as much as/more than an actual Rhodes, but I'm willing to bet it's not as heavy. The review also mentioned a soft-snyth called Lounge Lizard that came in a close second to the Emagic one.
How much are the Realistic MG-1's going for nowadays? Last I knew they averaged about $300
on eBay. That's a nice list you've got there. I'd settle for having my amp fixed.

Comments:  I'd really like to hear those soft-synths. A Rhodes sound is apparently really hard to get right, and I'd love to hear one that does (get it right).

I don't know what the MG-1 is going for these days! (looks on Ebay) Yep, looks like they're $200-400, which is a pity. Someday we're just going to have to raid every pawn shop, every thrift store and backwoods music store, until we find good deals on things like Space Echoes and MG-1s, things that were reasonably priced before Ebay: did I tell you I once had the chance to buy a Rhodes for, like, $250 -- and passed it up??!?

Comments:  (admittedly, I didn't have the money) (or a way of getting it) (but still!)

Comments:  Yes, I believe that was the same conversation in which you admitted to passing up a chance to play with T.M. But I forgave you on both accounts, or, if I didn't at the time, I do now. A pawn shop/thrift store raid sounds fun. That's how touring bands find their instruments. BTW, you and your Waldo mates have exactly ten original tunes, with little or no tape hiss, coming your way on the data disk via my four track. They all sound very usable and I'm excited to hear what you come up with! Cheers.

Comments:  Fan-tastic! I can't wait to hear them. Does that mean you have your computer back? Is it fixed?
