Comments:  luna, eh? i've been curious about them.
i've been listening to galaxie 500 quite a
lot lately and their body of work is small.
i think they're pretty special, but i have
a hard time being articulate about it. atleast,
i think they're special at the moment. musical
afflictions never seems to endure like i
expect them too. i will say dean's guitar
playing is full of great ideas even if they
are sometimes poorly (but charmingly) executed.
i have always had a low tolerance for most solos,
but lately i really dig dean's and also tom verlaine's on that one television record. tom
verlaine might be my jimi hendrix. anyway, i've
heard very little from luna. what can you tell
me about them?

Comments:  Scottbot: About Luna I, too, know very little, other than a measure of their genealogy. In fact, it may well be the case that the only Luna album I've ever heard is Bewitched. Jonathan "I Wear the Vest" Livingston played it for me, and it somehow stuck in my head so that, when I ran into the album a while later, it felt familiar and pleasant. Their sound is nice.

"The Great One": Hey, why not? I haven't read it (gasp!), and I have it, so... (Though I might end up going after the Oedipus trilogy instead, which I brought from home last time we visited.)
