The reason it's funny is because I sing that song all the time. I'm a pretty shy singer, but I'll sing that song before just about anyone, just about anywhere. I even sing it to myself sometimes while I'm removing/replacing my shoes. So, as I've been meaning to say, "yes, I know just what you mean." |

For what it's worth I heard a recording last night of Mr. Rogers singing that with a jazz piano trio, and he sang it very endearingly, in a homely-but-gentle voice. If that was him on piano, he sure can play! I feel certain that he plays piano at times on the show, but I've never been sure when, since I think the background music is done in real time...? |
